If you are asked about strike days

What members should know

Participation is a decision each member makes. What the unit can do is make sure you make it with the facts, and that nobody is singled out afterwards.

Not every notice ends in a walkout

Conciliation is part of the method

A strike notice opens a door. In June 2026 a proposed one-day strike at a neighbouring Gramin Bank was withdrawn after a marathon conciliation before the Regional Labour Commissioner, with the demands settled at the table. That outcome is the point of the notice, not a retreat from it.
